Leadership PLC for Equity & Inclusion
Our schools reflect and reinforce our society’s inequities. This guided online PLC is for school leaders who want to shift their school’s equity practices. We will look at how students of color have been systemically sorted into lower track programs, disciplined differently than their white peers, held to lower expectations, held to dress codes that render their culture or identity invisible, and suffered daily microaggressions. We’ll reflect together on how our society has structured itself around systems of inequity. Finally, we will work to understand the impact of whiteness, privilege, power, racism, and oppression in our own lives and in our institution, and develop constructive ways to create space for change, particularly in the face of resistance. The PLC is led by a trained diversity practitioner. Register today!
